Intellectual Property & Copyright Policy

All content made available through Maicourses — including platform software and interfaces, page design, branding and logos, course structures, lesson text, readings, classroom transcripts, practical activities, assignment briefs, marking rubrics, multiple-choice items and answer keys, downloadable materials, databases and compilations — is owned by or licensed to Super Digital Solutions Limited unless expressly stated otherwise.

Each published programme carries a recorded rights entry identifying the source and licence basis, a content version history, and SHA-256 content fingerprints for the lessons.

Maicourses publishes only:

• content we authored ourselves; or
• content we hold a documented, in-date licence to publish; or
• openly licensed material used strictly within its licence terms, with attribution.

We do not publish, and will remove on discovery:

• copied text, slides, readings or assessments from another provider;
• recordings of another institution's lectures or classes;
• a university, institute, employer or vendor name, logo or branding without written permission;
• accreditation, endorsement or awarding-body claims we cannot evidence.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access course content for your own personal or internal professional learning while your enrolment is active. No ownership rights are transferred.

You may take personal notes and keep your own certificate. You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, distribute, publish, licence, sell, repurpose or create derivative works from any part of the platform or its content except where we permit it in writing.

You must not do, attempt to do, or help anyone else do any of the following:

• copy, scrape, bulk-download, screen-record, mirror or republish course content;
• share, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit access to the platform or its materials;
• extract or circulate assessment questions, answer keys or marking rubrics;
• reverse engineer, decompile, probe or otherwise attempt to discover source logic, prompts or workflows;
• remove, obscure or alter copyright, trademark, AI-assistance or attribution notices;
• use the platform, its content or outputs to build a competing course, template library, dataset or training resource;
• introduce malware, interfere with security controls, or attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems or APIs;
• use bots, automation or abusive traffic patterns against the site or its APIs;
• misuse the Maicourses name, brand or certificates in a false, misleading or unlawful way.

Certain Maicourses features are AI-assisted and labelled as such in-product. The prompts, system instructions, curriculum design, scoring logic and workflow code remain the exclusive property of Super Digital Solutions Limited. Your own inputs, notes and assignment submissions belong to you, subject to the licence described in our Terms of Service.

You must not use Maicourses content, AI outputs, prompts, narration audio, transcripts, telemetry, screenshots or exports to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark or distil any machine-learning model, or to build a competing AI service, prompt library or course dataset. Automated harvesting of AI surfaces, including the course adviser and lesson narration endpoint, is expressly prohibited.

Any action that causes harm, risk, degradation, corruption or unlawful exposure to the platform, its content, its learners or connected systems is prohibited. We may monitor, preserve and use access logs, usage records, device data and other lawful evidence to investigate suspected misuse and to support legal or regulatory action.

If we believe you have breached this policy, we may suspend or terminate access, restrict the account, block IP addresses, preserve evidence, issue takedown and cease-and-desist notices, seek injunctive relief and damages, recover legal costs, and notify hosting providers, marketplaces, sponsoring organisations, employers, regulators or law enforcement.

Unauthorised copying, misuse or interference may result in severe civil and, in some cases, criminal penalties under UK and applicable international law.

If you believe content on Maicourses infringes your copyright or other rights, submit a notice through our rights and data request form including:

• your contact details and, if acting for a rights holder, your authority to act;
• a description of the work you say is infringed;
• the exact page or lesson URL of the material complained of;
• a statement made in good faith that the use is not authorised;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate.

We acknowledge valid notices within 5 business days and respond substantively within 10 business days. Where a complaint is credible we will unpublish the material pending review. Counter-notices are accepted through the same form.

If you access Maicourses outside the United Kingdom you remain responsible for complying with local law. Nothing in this policy limits our ability to rely on UK law, applicable foreign law or treaty protections to protect our intellectual property, systems and commercial interests.
